220 Recovery Colleges across 26 countries

The Recovery College model was developed by ImROC, implemented in three ImROC demonstration sites in South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust, Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust and Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. There are now over 220 Recovery Colleges across the UK. Recovery Colleges can be found in 26 different countries across the globe.

Supporting the development of Recovery Colleges that adhere to ImROC principles has been a mainstay of work in the past decade both nationally and internationally. Ongoing work is published in the briefing paper, Recovery Colleges 10 years on.

ImROC hosts the International Recovery College Learning Set a members action learning set that is paving the way for future Recovery College development. The Action Learning Set facilitates ongoing sharing of learning between colleges, and paving the way for continual development of Recovery colleges.

ImROC runs an International Recovery college Learning Set that facilitates ongoing sharing of learning between colleges, and paving the way for continual development of Recovery colleges. ImROC is a co-applicant on the large multi-centre research programme focusing on Recovery Colleges RECOLLECT.
