Our Story

Imroc exists to help transform mental health systems, services and communities  so that they are focused on Recovery and living well: hopeful, helpful, human and effective.

We have more than 20 years’ experience of developing practices that rebalance power shared decision making at an individual level to peer support workers employed at team level, lived experience expertise at executive level and genuine coproduction at system level.

Our training, consultancy, and research focus on building inclusive, recovery-focused approaches that are shaped by lived experience.

Training

A conference room with a diverse group of people raising their hands during a presentation. The presenter, a woman, is smiling and standing near a large screen displaying text. The room has a modern design with glass walls and a clock on the wall.

Our training is co-produced, practical, and grounded in lived experience.
Whether you're just starting your peer support journey or working to embed lived experience leadership across a service, we offer training that’s inclusive, adaptable, and recovery-focused. With a range of programmes and flexible delivery, we work alongside individuals and organisations to build skills, confidence, and meaningful culture change.

“I love that Peer Support is timeless, would always have existed from the first time two humans connected on a shared experience and will exist always. I love that the qualification for Peer Support (apart from completing the training!) is having a story to tell and having the compassion to listen.”
