Autism Informed Peer Supervision Training

This CPD certified course offers Imroc's best co-produced practice for those in supervisory roles to Autism Peer Support Workers. The 2-day course explores and embeds 17 different learning outcomes to enable autism peer support worker supervisors to provide high-quality, evidence-based, values-rooted supervision that empowers Autism Peer Support Workers to thrive in their role.

Learning begins on day 1 with exploring safe spaces, the role of predictability and consistency, and embedding the values and principles of Autism peer support work. We then move on to exploring barriers and challenges and using Imroc's Supervision Triangle as an underpinning model for effective, needs-led, responsive and reflective supervision.

On Day 2, we explore energy income and expenditure and the role that interests can play in sustaining and anchoring our work. We review the [role] of reasonable adjustments in accessibility, how we can support peers effectively and comprehensively, and how the developmental approach facilitates this.
