Event Programme
Welcome attendees! We’re excited to have you here as we launch Imroc’s charity status and vision for the future. Here’s a breakdown of what we’ll be doing throughout the day.
Guests start to arrive at the venue, grab a coffee from the cafe, enjoy the surroundings and start to build connections with others.
9.00am - Early bird registration
For those wishing a quieter start to the day, or longer to settle into the space before we begin.
A desk in the foyer outside Raleigh 1 will be where Robyn will welcome and provide information and Eva will be available to walk attendees around the event space.
9.30am - General registration
A desk in the foyer outside Raleigh 1 will be where Robyn will welcome and provide information and Eva will be available to walk attendees around the event space.
10.00am - Opening & Housekeeping
Julie and the Comms Team will begin by welcoming everyone in the main event room (Raleigh 1) and provide housekeeping information, the purpose of the event.
10:10am – Steven Michael: Why a Charity?
Steven (Chair of the Board of Trustees) will discuss why we have chosen the charity route, followed by a short Q&A session where pre-submitted questions will be answered. Presubmit questions here.
10.30am – New Roles: CEO & COO
Julie and Ruth will present their new roles as CEO and COO, highlighting their visions for the future of Imroc. This will also include a brief Q&A session based on pre-submitted questions. Presubmit questions here.
11.00am – Break & Networking
11.30am – Programme Lead Presentations
Julie will guide us through a series of programme lead presentations. During this session, each lead will introduce their work in creative and interactive ways.
Presentations will cover:
Introductions of the leads and their teams
The history and successes of each programme
Where the programme is now and future plans
Opportunities for involvement, including the skills and commitment needed
Presenting a key challenge for group input
12.30pm – Lunch & Networking/Nature Walk
Enjoy a break, lunch, and an optional nature walk.
1.30pm – Afternoon Session: Programme Presentations Continued
Julie will reconvene the group for the final programme presentations, followed by a wrap-up of key themes and takeaways from the discussions.

3.00pm – Visioning Exercise: Blue Skies Thinking
We’ll end the day by envisioning Imroc’s future together. Each table will discuss their top three ambitions for the organisation and write them on a flipchart to share with the group. Julie will facilitate the discussion, helping to explore these ideas.
3.30pm – Closing Remarks
Julie and Ruth will offer final thoughts, thanking everyone for attending and explaining how the information from the event will be shared moving forward.
4.00pm – Attendees Depart
